Remedial Massage With Anthony Turri
If you’ve got an ache, a pain, a strain or some tension that needs some attention, then book in with our superstar massage therapist Anthony Turri. Anthony has treated some of Australia’s top sportspeople, so you know you’ll be in safe hands.
Anthony Turri is Sydney Health Professionals’ massage wizard and general man of many talents. For the past 16 years, Anthony has been kneading away aches, pains and tensions in his clients, as well as teaching the next generation of massage therapists how it’s done.
Anthony has a particular interest in sports injuries and performance. He’s a qualified sports physiologist whose clients have included the Wallabies, Olympians and the Melbourne Victory Soccer team. He also sees a lot of personal trainers and amateur athletes.
But don’t worry if your lifestyle is more desk work than decathlon – Anthony has experience treating the aches and pains of modern life too. Many of his patients come to him suffering the effects of poor posture and office work.
He says his clients appreciate his honest, down-to-earth manner, “I tell them how it is work as hard as I can with them to get the best possible results in shortest amount of time.” He says he also likes to throw some humour into the mix, “for someone who tortures people for a living, the comedy is an added bonus, ha ha.”
As well as his practice and teaching in three different colleges, Anthony runs his own healthcare software company. In his spare time (what’s that?) the father-of-three also teaches soccer, basketball and rugby league to kids.
So does he ever get round to having a massage himself? “I see the boys at the clinic (Osteopaths Eddie and George) and get plenty of practice from the students I teach.” Anthony says teaching allows him to keep up-to-date with the latest research and techniques. He also enjoys passing on his skills to new practitioners so that more people can enjoy the benefits.
If you’re looking to have massage with one of the best in the business, Anthony is at the clinic on Wednesdays and Fridays.
