Health Issues with Acupuncture
Health can be a confusing topic, especially when you're dealing with a number of health concerns or chronic illnesses. Sometimes our health issues begin to niggle at us, leaving us wondering how to fix them or even manage them. It is vital to look after your health - if it's not at an optimum level it can disrupt your daily routine or even stop you doing the things that you love.
Acupuncture for Pregnancy
Acupuncture is a fantastic tool to help mothers navigate their pregnancy-related health issues throughout their pregnancy. Even though your body is undergoing many changes (and growing a tiny human) it is possible to maintain a high level of health from conception to birth and beyond.
Sports injuries are a big part of what we deal with on a daily basis at SHP. We see injuries in all walks of life - from junior soccer and netballers to seniors hiking and biking injuries. Sports injuries are varied in their presentation, and depend heavily upon the sport being participated in.
Injuries from Car Accidents
Injuries sustained in car accidents are complex and often painful. At SHP we see and help patients with injuries sustained in car accidents on a regular basis. These injuries can range from anything serious - spinal and pelvic fractures to whiplash, rib and trunk injuries - to compression and contact injuries from hitting the car or other things in the accident.
